COA Office, Banglore

The proposed COA Office in Bangalore is conceived as a contemporary institutional building that reflects clarity, professionalism, and environmental responsiveness. The architectural massing is composed as a set of bold yet balanced volumes, articulated through textured façades, recessed planes, and a controlled material palette. Patterned screens, deep fenestrations, and shaded openings not only lend a strong visual identity to the building but also respond to Bangalore’s climate by reducing heat gain and enhancing daylight performance. The arrival sequence is marked by a generous forecourt and a clear entry canopy, reinforcing the building’s civic and institutional presence within its campus setting.

The design draws inspiration from Bangalore’s evolving urban fabric and its emphasis on sustainable, climate-sensitive architecture. Traditional concepts of jaali screens and layered façades are reinterpreted in a modern form to create depth, shading, and visual interest. The integration of solar panels, landscaped buffers, and passive design strategies reflects a commitment to energy efficiency and long-term sustainability. Envisioned as a landmark office building, the project embodies a balance between functional efficiency, contextual sensitivity, and a contemporary architectural expression suited to a progressive professional institution.
